Responsibilities

1. Assist Occupational Therapists in implementing vocational and educational activities to enhance individuals' task performance and self-sufficiency.
2. Design and adapt equipment for work and living environments, including fabricating assistive devices.
3. Conduct community reintegration activities during physical activity to support occupational therapy needs.
4. Provide training to patients and caregivers, documenting progress and results.
5. Support treatment plans by reporting changes in patient status to the care team.
6. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

1. Degree from a certified occupational therapy assistant training program.
2. Current Occupational Therapist Assistant certification.
3. Knowledge of neurologic injury and neuro-rehabilitation techniques.
4. Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience with traumatic brain injury or similar conditions.
5. Current CPR certification.
