Job summary

Bethany Care Center is seeking a Level 1 Medication Aide (LIMA) to join our care team, providing safe medication administration and monitoring for residents. You will work with nurses to ensure timely dosing, accurate documentation, and attentive resident observation.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and knowledge of medical terminology. Daily responsibilities include assisting residents with daily living activities and maintaining a clean, safe care environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Preparing medications for patients.

NIGHT SHIFT DAY SHIFT

Duties and Responsibilities

• ·Preparing medications for patients
• ·Administering various types of medication throughout the day
• ·Recording every dose of medication administered
• ·Observing patients to look for changes
• ·Notifying nurses about changes or medical issues with patients
• ·Following all safety protocols
• ·Assist Residents with daily living activities, to include, delivering meals, and providing plenty of fluids and nourishment meals throughout scheduled shift
• ·Help Residents with personal hygiene
• ·Assist Residents with feeding and serving nutritional supplements
• ·Making the Resident's beds and keeping their living areas clean and tidy
• ·Assist other staff in other departments as needed
• ·Adhere to professional standards and follow all facility policies and procedures
• ·Abide by all federal, state and local requirements and standards
• ·Maintain the confidentiality of all Residents and Facility data
