Job summary

Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) in Portland seeks an Assistant/Associate Professor in Acute Leukemia to join the Knight Cancer Institute. The role encompasses leading research in CML, MPN, and MDS, managing patient care, and mentoring medical students and residents within the Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology.

The successful candidate will participate in clinical trials, contribute to multidisciplinary teams, and engage in teaching, service, and collaborative activities,

Qualifications

• MD or MD/PhD degree required or equivalent.
• Oregon medical license or eligible for licensure.
• Board certification in Internal Medicine required; hematology/oncology certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead research in acute leukemia, CML, MPN/MDS within Center for Hematologic Malignancies.
• Manage clinical care for leukemia patients and supervise outpatient/inpatient services.
• Participate in education of medical students and house staff; contribute to teaching rounds.

Education

MD or MD/PhD

Licensed to practice medicine in Oregon

Board certified in Internal Medicine

Board eligible/certified in Hematology and/or oncology
