Description

The Division of Hematology-Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non‑tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of leukemia. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. Board certification or board eligibility in hematology and/or medical oncology is required.

Teaching responsibilities may include teaching hematology/oncology fellows, house staff and medical students. The academic clinician track requires 100 credits per year of active and high‑quality teaching.

Clinical responsibilities may include patient care in the area of hematological malignancies (acute leukemia). The Leukemia Program encompasses a busy inpatient service working with APP's, fellows, and residents, as well as an outpatient clinic with an emphasis on clinical care and clinical research.
