Leonard Middle School seeks an experienced Assistant Cheer Coach for the 2026-27 season. We want a dynamic leader who can inspire student-athletes, help shape a learning-centered program, and uphold a culture of hard work, discipline, and integrity.

The role includes coaching and managing the LMS game cheer team, assisting in practices, competitions, and off-season training, and promoting character, academics, and sportsmanship while collaborating with the Head Coach and school community.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of cheering fundamentals and strategy.
• Ability to motivate, mentor, and connect with student-athletes.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Coaching certifications and CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain).
• Compliance with school and athletic regulations.

Stipend Range: Dependent on experience and Collective Bargaining Agreement $1,428.58 - $2,380.98
