The Licensed Optician helps deliver the brand value proposition and establishes LensCrafters as the premier destination for all vision needs within the community. Creates value by providing exceptional customer service and high-quality eyewear that exceeds expectations.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and set expectations
• Custom fit glasses and precisely place prescriptions in lenses
• Act as a leader in optical knowledge
• Take and record measurements, adjust/fit eyewear with attention to detail, ensure standards are met
• Assist with complex product needs and prescriptions
• Use technology accurately and efficiently, maintain product knowledge
• Proactively resolve issues, ensure customer satisfaction
• Multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Achieve results on KPIs and competencies
• Maintain store appearance and safety practices
• Be resourceful, self-motivated, and committed to learning
• Follow company policies including discounts, promotions, and inventory management

Basic Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• State Licensure
• Optical dispensing experience
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Knowledge of store merchandise
• Basic math skills
• Fashion awareness
• Ability to use tablets and POS systems
• Familiarity with computers and calculators
• Willingness to embrace technology and change
