Position: Full-Time Apprentice Optician

Location: Store # 000505, LensCrafters

Role Overview: The Apprentice Optician delivers the LensCrafters Experience, ensuring customer satisfaction through key sales and service steps, assisting in frame and lens selection, and maintaining optical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service, greeting customers, explaining processes, and assisting with merchandise selection.
• Assist customers in selecting appropriate frames and lenses based on their needs and preferences.
• Educate customers on LensCrafters’ guarantees and services.
• Accurately take measurements, fit eyewear, and ensure finished products meet standards.
• Operate POS systems accurately, process transactions, and explain delivery times.
• Maintain store appearance and ensure safety standards are met.

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Part of a sanctioned Apprentice Program
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Knowledge of optical theory, merchandise, and basic math
• Familiarity with POS systems and technology

Preferred Qualifications:

• Studying for LensCrafters Quality, Fitting, and Adjusting Program
• Optical dispensing or retail experience
