Job summary

Lenhart Electric, part of In Charge Electric, is expanding its Tampa residential department. We are seeking technicians with at least 2 years of electrical experience to outfit new construction homes, read blueprints, and ensure code-compliant installations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on electrical experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a "whatever it takes" mentality.
• Valid drivers license with clean driving history.
• Must be willing to undergo pre-employment screenings including criminal background check, driving record, and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Layout of electrical per plans and local codes
• Insure all electric is installed per plan and code
• Read and interpret blueprints and cabinet details to assure correct location of electrical
• Follow architectural drawings to determine installation of wiring systems
• Install a variety of electrical system components such as lighting, switches, circuits, panels and outlets
• Identify hazards or defects in electrical systems by performing periodic inspections
• Direct the work of apprentices to ensure that work orders are handled properly
• Overtime paid on piece rate
• Earning potential based on experience, ability, and accuracy

Job Description: Wiring up new construction homes per code

Key Responsibilities

• Layout of electrical per plans and local codes
• Insure all electric is installed per plan and code
• Choose an array of tools and materials according to the repair work that needs to be done
• Read and interpret blueprints and cabinet details to insure correct location of electrical
• Follow architectural drawings to determine installation of wiring systems
• Install a variety of electrical system components such as lighting, switches, circuits, panels and outlets
• Identify hazards or defects in electrical systems by performing periodic inspections
