Job summary

Lenhart Electric, now part of In Charge Electric, seeks an Orlando-based residential electrician to join our Technicians department. You will wire new construction homes per code and collaborate with a growing team committed to professionalism, excellence, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on electrical experience.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a “whatever it takes” mentality.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving history.
• Must be willing to undergo pre-employment screenings, including criminal background check, driving record, and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Layout of electrical per plans and local codes.
• Insure all electric is installed per plan and code.
• Choose an array of tools and materials according to the repair work that needs to be done.
• Read and interpret blueprints and cabinet details to insure correct location of electrical.
• Follow architectural drawings to determine installation of wiring systems.
• Install a variety of electrical system components such as lighting, switches, circuits, panels and outlets.
• Identify hazards or defects in electrical systems by performing periodic inspections.
• Plan layout of electrical wiring and equipment keeping in mind local building codes and project specifications.
• Direct the work of apprentices to ensure that work orders are handled properly.
• Overtime paid on piece rate
• Earning potential based on experience, ability, and accuracy
