Job summary

System One in Vienna, VA is seeking a Lending Systems Software Tester with 2–5 years of QA experience to perform functional and regression testing on lending platforms, including legacy and vendor systems. The role emphasizes test case creation, defect analysis, and cross‑functional collaboration.

This hybrid position requires on‑site presence three days a week, data preparation, and validation of system changes.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of QA/testing experience in banking or financial services.
• Experience in functional and regression testing with test case creation and defect management.
• Experience with JIRA, HP ALM, UFT; SQL/database validation is preferred.
• Knowledge of testing within financial services and regulatory controls.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete regression tests of new and existing systems (legacy and vendor).
• Conduct functional tests to ensure proper interfacing and accurate reporting.
• Create and edit test cases based on system requirements.
• Identify and analyze defects, document results, and verify modifications.
• Maintain testing logs and ensure compliance with business practices and controls.
