Location: Central KS [about 50 miles north of Wichita]
Salary: $45,000 - $65,000 + Benefits

Our client, a national nonprofit financial ministry, is seeking a mission-aligned Lending Specialist to join their team in Central Kansas. This organization provides customized loan solutions to churches, Christian nonprofits, and ministry leaders nationwide. The ideal candidate will bring strong interpersonal and analytical skills, a service-oriented mindset, and a desire to integrate their faith with their work. In this position, you will support the full lending process—from reviewing applications to underwriting, closing, and ongoing relationship management. You’ll collaborate closely with a small, dedicated team and have the opportunity to travel to client sites approximately once a month to visit projects and build long-term partnerships. Responsibilities

• Consult with potential and existing clients to determine their financial needs
• Gather and review financial information and prepare loan proposals for board review
• Underwrite loans and determine appropriate structure, pricing, and terms
• Guide borrowers through the entire loan process, from origination to closing
• Monitor the existing loan portfolio for financial reporting and overall credit performance
• Manage the loan closing process, including communication with borrowers and title companies
• Ensure loan closings are processed efficiently and on schedule
• Oversee active loans, including construction draws and ongoing servicing
• Build and maintain strong lending relationships as a trusted partner to church leaders and organizations
• Maintain accurate loan records and ensure compliance with all lending regulations

Qualifications
