Lending Services-Member Service Representative - Hybrid Remote

Responsibilities
  1. Handle loan applications via phone, mail, or fax, and answer inquiries about loan products and services. Promote cross-selling of credit union products and electronic services.
  2. Achieve sales goals for loan and ancillary products.
  3. Interview applicants, gather required information, and ensure loan documentation accuracy.
  4. Coordinate with centralized lending for loan approval and finalize loans with members.
  5. Maintain knowledge of lending procedures, credit union policies, and software.
  6. Open various types of accounts, verify eligibility, and process related transactions.
  7. Assist members with transactions, research issues, and resolve concerns over the phone.
  8. Process wire transfers and verify transaction details for security.
  9. Maintain excellent phone etiquette, minimize call abandonment, and manage call times effectively.
  10. Record messages, provide information, and respond to online member inquiries.
  11. Utilize CRM tools like PRISM for lead management, referrals, and tracking sales goals.
  12. Ensure proficiency with necessary computer software, including Microsoft Office.
  13. Availability to work during inclement weather closures, with options for remote work or commuting, including potential overnight stays.
  14. Practice The Member Advantage methodology to enhance member relationships and resolve issues.
Compensation

The hourly pay ranges from $20.69 to $25.86, depending on experience.

Qualifications

Associates Degree or equivalent, with at least six months of related lending experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
