Hawaii State Federal Credit Union seeks a Lending Products Manager in Product Strategy to guide consumer lending, debit, and card portfolios. You will leverage data and market trends to shape strategic direction, grow existing lines, and propose new offerings while partnering with internal teams and vendors.

Location is Honolulu HQ. The role emphasizes data-driven forecasting, stakeholder collaboration, and an emphasis on member-centric product experiences within a dynamic credit union

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in strategic execution, management, or influence to consumer products or services at scale.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships across stakeholders to influence product strategies.
• Advanced knowledge of consumer lending products (auto, personal, cards, LOC, home equity).
• Knowledge of product management principles, market research methodologies, competitive analysis, and strategic planning.
• Understanding of digital banking channels and evolving consumer financial services trends.

Position Summary

The Lending Products Manager works within Hawaii State Federal Credit Union’s Product Strategy Department. You will be responsible for making data informed, member-focused decisions to drive the strategic direction for growing and evolving the consumer loans product portfolio as well as debit and credit card products.

In this role, you will be asked to dream big, be curious and utilize data and trends to make strategic recommendations for HSFCU’s lending products. You will work with an inspired department to manage and grow existing product lines, while recommending new product lines, and exploring new growth opportunities on an on-going basis.

This position is located at our HSFCU Headquarters in Downtown Honolulu.

Base Annual Salary Range: $86,800 - $113,925 per year
The posted range reflects the anticipated base pay for this position, with final compensation determined based on experience, skills, and internal equity.

Essential Duties & Functions

• Portfolio Management: Own the performance, growth, and direction of consumer lending and card products, using data and insights to inform strategic recommendations.
• Product Execution: Lead product launches, campaigns, or changes from concept, through implementation, measurement and lessons learned.
• Cross-Collaborative: Partner with internal teams and external vendors to execute on strategic initiatives and product enhancements.
• Financial Acumen and Analysis: Leverage data to be able to create forecasting and scenarios based on strategic choices. Ability to analyze data over time and communicate results up and down the organization.
• Member Focused: View product experience through a member-centric lens, providing recommendations to enhance the lending or cards experience.
• Industry and Regulatory Sound: Monitor regulatory trends and communicate risks, while also keeping an awareness to products trends and new opportunities.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• 6+ years of experience in strategic execution, management, or influence to consumer products or services at scale.
• Demonstrated experience building and navigating relationships across a diverse set of stakeholders to influence and catalyze product strategies.
• Advanced knowledge of consumer lending products including auto loans,personal loans, credit cards, lines of credit, and home equity lending products.
• Knowledge of product management principles, market researchmethodologies, competitive analysis, and strategic planning processes.
• Understanding of digital banking channels and evolving consumer financialservices trends.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Understanding of lending operations, underwriting principles, creditrisk management, and portfolio performance measures.
• Analytical and financial acumen, with the ability to interpret portfoliodata, market trends, member behavior, and financial performance metrics.
