Jobot is seeking a Lending Operations Executive Assistant for a long-established California bank in Santa Barbara. The role supports loan operations, coordinates documentation, and interfaces with loan officers to ensure timely closings.

The ideal candidate will have up to 1 year of loan processing experience, strong attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. This position offers competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Up to 1 year of commercial loan processing experience or equivalent preferred.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Verify borrower information and supporting documents during the loan process.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies across loan origination and servicing.
• Review documentation to determine authorized signers and approval authorities.
• Ensure compliance with CIP and CDD requirements.
• Order appraisals, credit reports, and due diligence items for underwriting.
• Prepare loan worksheets and coordinate document preparation.
• Manage closing documentation and loan signings.
• Maintain electronic loan files for internal standards.
• Support portfolio management by tracking post-closing items and maturities.
• Provide regional support to branches as assigned.
• Ensure adherence to federal/state regulations and bank policies.
