Job summary

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of banking experience
• Previous Lending Assistant or lending support role preferred.
• Basic knowledge of loan documentation, loan processing, and banking regulations is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist loan officers with processing consumer, commercial, and real estate loan applications from origination through closing.
• Collect, review, and verify client financial documentation.
• Prepare and maintain loan files, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with banking regulations.
• Generate and process loan documentation, disclosures, and closing packages.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers, providing updates, answering questions, and gathering required information.
• Coordinate with internal departments, title companies, appraisers, and other third parties to facilitate loan processing.
• Monitor loan pipelines, tickler systems, and reporting to ensure timely progression and funding of loans.
• Input and maintain accurate loan data in the bank's systems and prepare reports as required.
• Ensure compliance with all bank policies and applicable federal and state lending regulations.
• Provide general administrative support to the lending department and assist with special projects as needed.

We are a professional staffing firm, working with organizations across the country to place exceptional candidates. Currently, we have a Lending Assistant opportunity with a Texas Regional Bank. This role serves as the backbone of the lending team- managing daily administrative and operational tasks while building strong customer relationships from initial application through final loan payoff.

Your specific duties will include:

Pay Rate Range: $52,000 - $70,000 annually

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits, including medical, dental, and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
