Job summary

Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell and Berkowitz, P.C. seeks an associate with bankruptcy, workout, and relevant commercial litigation experience to join its Corporate Restructuring & Bankruptcy practice group in Raleigh.

The role involves representing lenders, creditors, and businesses in commercial loan restructurings and insolvency matters. Experience with CMBS, commercial lending, real estate, maritime, or energy law is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bankruptcy, workout, and related commercial litigation experience preferred.
• Excellent writing, analytical, and organizational skills.
• North Carolina law license required.

Responsibilities

• Represent lenders and creditors in restructuring and insolvency matters in federal and state courts.
• Handle default resolutions, collections, and loan workouts.
• Collaborate within a multi-office Corporate Restructuring & Bankruptcy team.
