Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. is seeking Mozzarella Packaging Assemblers in the United States. The role starts at $22.62 per hour with a $1 shift premium for hours from 6pm to 6am and offers excellent benefits after 90 days.

First shift runs roughly 6:00am–4:00pm, while third shift covers 8pm–6am or 8:30pm–6:30am. The position requires a high school diploma and strong attendance. You will perform packaging tasks, rotate on lines, read schedules, inspect products for defects, and uphold GMP and safety

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to handle math tasks (add/sub/multiply/divide).
• Willingness to work OT and holidays.
• Must follow GMP and food-safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform any and all packaging duties as assigned by the Packaging Supervisor.
• Rotate between lines and positions practicing good ergonomics.
• Work in a coordinated and cooperative manner in a team setting with team goals.
• Read and understand production and packaging schedule and packaging verification reports.
• Assist in setting up for production and changeovers.
• Visually inspect product for quality defects.
• Observe all safety rules, work rules and procedures.
• Know all clean-up procedures and chemical handling procedures.
• Operate and maintain foamer.
• Adheres to all policies and procedures relating to GMPs and food safety.

Mozzarella Packaging Assemblers

• 1st shift hours: 6:00am or 6:30am till 4-6pm

How You Will Make Contributions That Matter

You Are Best Suited for The Role If You Have:

• A High School Diploma or equivalent education, experience, or training.
• An excellent work ethic, consistent attendance, and must be able to work, overtime, and holidays.
• The ability to work comfortably with mathematical figures. (Addition, subtraction, multiply and divide)
• The Ability to physically be able to do medium to heavy work in terms of lifting, with frequent stooping, squatting, reaching, and handling 25-30# tubs of cheese/finished product.
