Job summary

Itape is seeking a Converting Operator to operate converting equipment in a dynamic production setting. You will set up and run multiple machines, troubleshoot issues, and ensure products meet scheduling and specifications.

The role requires the ability to read a tape measure, lift up to 50 lbs, work in temperatures above 95°F, and adhere to PPE and housekeeping standards. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, manufacturing experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate multiple converting machinery: Band Saw, Perforator, Sealer 2000, Sheeter.
• Troubleshoot machinery and make adjustments as needed.
• Produce orders to schedule and specification.
• Prepare goods for shipping using various equipment.
• Label finished goods and palletize as necessary.
• Perform quality control checks.
• Ability to read tape measure.
• Be detail oriented with a sense of urgency.
• Use PPE as required.
• Maintain good housekeeping.
• Related tasks as requested by supervisor.

Position Purpose: Operates converting equipment

Principle Accountabilities

• Set up and operator multiple converting machinery

• Troubleshoot machinery and make adjustments as needed

• Prepare goods for shipping using various equipment
• Label finished goods, place on pallets as necessary
• Perform quality control checks
• Ability to read tape measure
• Must be detailed oriented and have a sense of urgency
• Use PPE as required
• Maintain good housekeeping
• Related tasks as requested by supervisor

Essential Skills and Experience

• Must have High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Manufacturing experience is helpful.
• No travel required
• Must be able to work in varying temperatures above 95 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Ability to repeatedly lift up to a maximum of 50 lbs.
