Qualifications

Overview

The Leisure Travel Account Manager- Mid-Central US will develop and strengthen a sustainable relationship with assigned territory in Travel Leaders Network. Incumbent must take proactive action via customer visits to accounts as well as strategic plans for growth and success. Incumbent must have excellent verbal and communication skills.

Territory includes state of :WI,IL,ND,SD,MN,NE,KS,OK,IA,MO,MI,IN,OH,AK

Responsibilities
  • Develops and implements core supplier sales plans and integrated Travel Leaders Network products and services utilization plan for assigned territory.
  • Travels to member agencies, local /regional sponsored events and industry sponsored events
  • Presents and assists in the understanding of member benefits from marketing programs to technology in addition to other offerings - focused on programs with highest ROI for TLN
  • Communicates member requirements and requests support from other departments as necessary to assist in achieving goals
  • Recommends areas of further growth potential and supports members in reaching those goals
  • Evaluates territory performance against established objectives/guidelines
  • Provides timely reporting of activities via Salesforce.com
  • Conducts minimum of 60 contacts per week (in person and via phone calls)
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or minimum of 5 years of sales or marketing experience
  • Travel up to 35% of the time
  • Must possess exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Must have proven track record of account management and retention
  • Must have the ability to meet deadlines working from home and while traveling
  • Goal oriented and action-focused, pragmatic and self-disciplined

The salary range on this job posting/advertising has been developed to give applicants a wide range to comply with pay transparency laws in all states and geographical areas. This role may be eligible for an incentive, commission, bonus, or a discretionary bonus program based on the company’s financial goal achievement and individual performance.
