Job summary

Play-Well in Ventura, CA is seeking enthusiastic instructors for LEGO classes and camps. This part-time role focuses on teaching STEM concepts through hands-on LEGO activities, while guiding students to think creatively and collaborate effectively.

The position offers afternoons during the school year and full or half-day camps in summer, with compensation and benefits described in the posting. Prior teaching experience is valued, as is dependable transportation and a safety-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Teaching/instruction experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation is a must.
• Lift up to 40 lbs to store and transport materials; engage with children during class instruction.
• Must pass all background checks as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Manage each class session, ensuring the children are safe, engaged, and having fun.
• Communicates with parents and clients in a knowledgeable, respectful and tactful manner.
• Adheres to all Play-Well safety procedures and supervision/release protocols.
• Care, safekeeping, and upkeep of assigned LEGO teaching kit(s).
• Responds quickly to communications from management by phone, text, email or mail.
• Regularly communicates with Area Manager with questions, concerns and updates.
