Job summary

Snapology is seeking a fun, energetic FIRST® LEGO® League Coach to guide kids ages 8-14 through robotics challenges and teamwork. You’ll help students design, build, test, and improve their robots, while keeping practices engaging and positive.

Schedule: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 2:00-6:20 PM. No prior robotics experience required; passion for STEM and ability to learn with students are valued. You’ll be paid to inspire problem-solving and creativity.

Qualifications

• Criminal and Child Clearances must be current.
• 2+ years of experience working with children in a classroom or camp environment.
• Education degree or teaching experience recommended; teachers or pursuing education degrees will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Coach students through LEGO robotics and coding challenges.
• Help teams design, build, test, and improve their robots.
• Encourage teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving.
• Keep practices organized, positive, and FUN!
• Help prepare teams for FIRST LEGO League competitions.
• Lead groups of students through curriculum-guided activities.
• Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment.
• Manage student behavior and maintain classroom discipline.
• Prepare for each program by reading curriculum and training materials.
