Qualifications

  • Familiar with Facebook, Instagram, Threads, X, Bluesky, TikTok, YouTube.
  • Ability to analyze social data trends.
  • Able to work in-person in Lansing when the state House is in session.

Responsibilities

  • Draft daily posts for representatives' social media accounts.
  • Identify and share social media trends.
  • Brainstorm ideas and offer content suggestions with the Multimedia Team.
  • Communicate social media needs and execute them with relevant staff.
  • Attend House session and committee meetings and identify exchanges for social sharing.
  • Help representatives comply with accessibility standards and best practices.
