The Office of the Legislative Auditor General in Utah seeks a full-time Performance Auditor on-site at Capitol Hill in Salt Lake City. You will contribute to high-quality audits, lead public entities, and drive accountability through rigorous data analysis and reporting.

Candidates should have a Master’s degree in a related field and be non-partisan; you will conduct comprehensive reviews, collect data, interview stakeholders, and prepare actionable audit conclusions for the Utah Legislature.

Responsabilités

• Conduct efficiency, effectiveness, compliance, financial, and organizational performance reviews of state government agencies.
• Support senior performance auditors and auditors-in-charge to gather and interpret data used in reports to the Utah State Legislature.
• Distill complicated data sets into reports and infographics for varied audiences.
• Collect and analyze data to evaluate performance of state agencies.
• Conduct interviews, observations, and document reviews in potentially confrontational environments.
• Compile information into reports for legislators and public officials.
