The Hawaii State Senate is seeking dedicated Committee Attorneys to support the legislative process under the Committee Chairperson. You will perform complex legal research, draft memoranda, and review proposed legislation and committee reports for accuracy and clarity.

Minimum qualifications include a J.D. from an accredited law school, knowledge of legislative drafting techniques, strong written and oral communication, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsabilités

• Analyze federal, state, and county laws for impact on operations.
• Monitor court decisions and precedents affecting governance.
• Maintain confidentiality of non-public proceedings and documents.
