Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a closely related field.
• Two years of progressively responsible experience in legal research.

Responsibilities

• Receives and evaluates requests for legislative drafting from Council Members and staff.
• Prepares requests in proper bill format using legally effective language.
• Reviews bills, resolutions, and amendments for format and legislative adequacy.
• Works with staff and officers to ensure consistency with codification standards.
