Job summary

Tractor Supply Company seeks a Team Member to engage customers, support selling initiatives and complete store tasks while delivering a Legendary Customer Experience.

You will greet customers, assess needs, recommend solutions, handle cash, assist with loading purchases, and maintain store standards including safety and poultry care. The role requires flexibility, reliability, and teamwork in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• No experience required; retail experience and/or farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required. Reading, writing and counting accurately is essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts and varying hours, including nights, weekends and overtime as needed.
• Greet customers and uncover their needs; recommend product solutions and add value.
• Operate cash register and follow cash handling procedures; assist customers with loading purchases.
• Complete Plan-o-gram procedures and merchandising tasks; participate in freight processes.
• Perform janitorial duties and ensure a safe, clean store environment.
• Assist with price changes and markdowns; operate forklift and baler if age-appropriate.
• Maintain poultry safety and care for birds as required.
