Primary Responsibilities

• Assisting attorneys with global trademark and copyright portfolio management;
• Preparing and managing U.S. and foreign trademark prosecution filings;
• Assisting attorneys with U.S. and foreign trademark oppositions, cancellations and other disputes, including managing deadlines and preparing and coordinating evidence and client communications;
• Maintaining a large and complex docket of domestic and international trademarks and domain names, as well as U.S. copyrights, including management and oversight of the docketing database;
• Maintaining client‑facing extranets;
• Preparing trademark, copyright and domain name status reports for attorneys and clients;
• Corresponding directly with clients, the USPTO and foreign counsel on a daily basis regarding status, deadlines and outstanding issues.

Qualifications

• Previous law firm experience is a plus.
• BA/BS degree.
• Excellent organization, precise attention to detail, and demonstrated success in multitasking.
• Ability to learn quickly and work independently and efficiently on multiple tasks of varying complexity.
• Strong motivation to follow through with assignments.
• Strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, solid computer skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite and Adobe.

Pay

The pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on location, skillset and experience: $50,000 - $60,000 (USD).
