The Opportunity:

Are you looking for an entry-level position supporting the Department of Justice Criminal Fraud Section on critical matters?

This role offers an opportunity to develop document management skills, provide case management and database maintenance assistance in litigation support, and gain experience with automated litigation support and eDiscovery tools.

The Document Management Analyst (DMA) works closely with Health Care Fraud attorneys in a fast-paced environment, assisting in investigations and prosecutions, including witness interviews, deposition prep, and courtroom support.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform functions of Document Management Technician, including detailed review and analysis of case materials, indexing files, drafting procedures, document acquisition, and database searches.
  • Proofread and edit deliverables.
  • Serve as team leader for larger groups of technicians and support staff.
  • Work with minimal supervision, reporting to Task or Project Supervisor.
Qualifications:
  • One year of litigation support experience or an undergraduate degree.
  • Experience or coursework in finance, healthcare, legal environment, or IT may be required for certain assignments.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Hands-on familiarity with government office and network environments, including data processing, office automation, databases like Oracle or Relativity, and tools like Trial Director.
Desired Skills:
  • Experience with automated litigation support and eDiscovery.
  • Ability to perform quality control and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Customer-focused and professional attitude, especially when working on-site with government clients.

Pay Range:

This position is covered by the Service Contract Labor Standards (SCA). The minimum hourly wage is $22.72, with actual pay influenced by location, experience, skills, and other factors. We offer comprehensive benefits including healthcare, wellness, retirement, education, and time off.
