Job summary

CSI Leasing Inc seeks a senior legal assistant supervisor to oversee contract administration, intake, tracking of key dates, and document retention. You will assign and monitor work, ensure timely completion, and provide ongoing training to the team.

The role requires an associate degree or paralegal certificate, six years in a legal environment with at least one year of leadership, and strong MS Office skills. Collaboration and confidentiality are essential in this position.

Qualifications

  • Education: Associate's degree or paralegal certificate; six years of progressively responsible experience in a legal dept. with at least one year of supervisory responsibility.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work across teams, manage multiple tasks, and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee contract administration processes, including intake, tracking key dates, signature management, and document retention.

  • Monitor deadlines and provide corrections, training to legal assistants as needed.
  • Onboard and train new legal assistants on job skills and requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee contract administration processes, including intake, tracking key dates, signature management, and document retention.
  • Assigning and monitoring contract work to ensure timely and accurate completion
  • Monitor deadlines and review work product where needed, providing corrections and hands on continued training to legal assistants
  • Stay knowledgeable about changes to procedures internally and communicate these changes to the team;
  • Onboard and train new legal assistants on job skills and requirements
  • Act as first contact for any questions related to the legal assistant role
Required Skills and Qualifications

Education & experience - Associate's degree, paralegal certificate or the equivalent required. At least six years of progressively responsible experience in a legal department or similar department with at least one year of supervisory or lead responsibility.

Computer skills - Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, MS Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at a time.
