Latitude is seeking a Legal Recruiting & Placement Manager to join our Corporate Talent Team. In this role, you will lead the recruitment and placement of highly skilled former in-house counsel and Big Law attorneys, as well as other highly skilled legal professionals, to support the sophisticated legal teams of our legal department and law firm clients nationwide.

As a key member of the Corporate Talent Team, you will collaborate with colleagues across Latitude offices to deliver exceptional service to our clients while building strong relationships with accomplished attorneys and legal professionals. This is a dynamic, fast-paced position that requires excellent time management, clear and professional communication, and a high degree of reliability.

Success in this role requires strong interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and a sincere interest in understanding and aligning the unique strengths of attorneys with the needs of our clients. This is a fully remote position offering significant work-from-home flexibility.

Primary Responsibilities

• Interview and assess a high volume of experienced legal professionals for both contract and permanent roles with Latitude’s in-house counsel and law firm clients.
• Continuously maintain a full pipeline of candidates in Latitude’s key practice areas and markets.
• Educate candidates on Latitude’s model while ensuring a positive and informative recruitment process.
• Leverage data and metrics to identify supply gaps and implement targeted recruitment strategies accordingly.
• Partner with Market Leaders nationwide to prepare candidates for client submissions, including tailoring candidates’ resumes and bios to align with specific client needs.
• Conduct compliance checks for all candidates.
• Present candidates with client opportunities and evaluate their skills and interests against the client’s needs.
• Manage Talent Sourcing Associate, providing guidance, setting priorities, conducting regular check-ins and reviews, and ensuring performance against recruitment goals.
• Work as part of a cohesive, collaborative, supportive, and fun team.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of legal experience; legal recruiting experience preferred at an agency, law firm, in-house legal department, or alternative legal service provider.?
• Proven track record of leveraging data and metrics to optimize recruitment efforts and make informed hiring decisions.
• Skilled at building rapport with highly sophisticated and experienced candidates while maintaining clear, professional communications and a positive recruitment experience.
• Ability to manage multiple candidate pipelines, identify priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Management experience, including overseeing team performance, providing coaching and feedback, and aligning efforts with organizational goals.
• Experience collaborating with senior stakeholders to align recruitment efforts with client demand, providing solutions-focused support.
• Reliable team player with a commitment to integrity and a willingness to support others.

Position Details

• This is a full-time remote position that offers a flexible, work-from-home schedule.
• Occasional in-person meetings and participation in professional networking events after traditional business hours required.
• Given the client-service nature of our business, Latitude employees are expected to be responsive to candidates and clients, including occasionally in the evenings and on weekends.

• The anticipated salary range for this role is $85,000-105,000. Final compensation is based on several factors including work experience, qualifications, and credentials.
