Job Details:

Legal Recruiting Coordinator

My client has a full time opening for a Legal Recruiting Coordinator. This position is on site 3 days a week. Someone out of a legal environment is preferred, but not required. In this role you will support the Senior Lateral Recruiting Manager in all aspects of lateral attorney hiring, from candidate sourcing to onboarding, while collaborating with internal teams and managing special projects in a fast-paced legal environment.

Essential Job Functions

  • Assist with lateral hiring process and special projects.
  • Collaborate with practice group leaders to identify staffing needs, develop search strategies, and draft job postings.
  • Source candidates, manage search firm relationships, and stay updated on legal hiring trends.
  • Coordinate interviews, collect feedback, and serve as candidate liaison.
  • Facilitate hiring decisions, prepare offer letters, and handle onboarding documents.
  • Maintain candidate records, screen resumes, and ensure file retention compliance.
  • Develop recruiting marketing materials and support diversity initiatives.
  • Draft fee agreements, track expirations, and manage placement fee payments.
  • Work with HR and Conflicts teams for due diligence and screening.
  • Coordinate with office management for new hire orientation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 2+ years in recruiting (legal preferred) or related field
  • Proficient in ViRecruit (preferred), Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
  • Professional, diplomatic, and able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Positive, high-energy attitude and team player.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
