Norm AI, a fast-growing AI-focused firm, is seeking an experienced Legal Recruiter to build our Legal Engineering team and support Recruiting across Sales and Operations in a hybrid NYC setting.

You will own full-cycle recruiting, partner with founders, develop scalable processes, and deliver an exceptional candidate experience. Relocation to NYC is offered with equity included, and in-office presence is 3–4 days a week.

This Role

We’re looking for an experienced Legal Recruiter who thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and is passionate about building exceptional teams from the ground up. You will be instrumental in helping Norm AI scale the Legal Engineering team, a critical department at our organization. While you will own recruiting for Legal Engineering, you will also hire top-tier talent across the Sales and Operations teams with the opportunity to build recruiting processes and work closely with our founders and leadership team. You will operate as a true partner to hiring managers, from defining roles to closing candidates.

• Are based in or willing to relocate to NYC, and comfortable working in a hybrid model.

Nice to Haves

• Experience hiring in AI, ML, or LegalTech spaces.

• Experience at an early-stage venture-backed company.

• Familiarity with Ashby.

Compensation and Benefits

Base Salary: $130,000 to $180,000 per year

The range displayed in this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salary for this position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
