Job summary

Rocket Money, Inc in San Francisco is seeking a Legal Project Manager to translate regulatory requirements into scalable business processes and workflows that cross-functionally engage product, marketing, operations, and engineering.

You will lead legal operations initiatives, optimize internal processes, review customer-facing experiences for risk, and develop controls while exploring AI and automation to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in legal operations, project management, compliance, or similar cross-functional role.
• Ability to bring structure to ambiguity and build new processes.
• Experience coordinating projects across stakeholders with competing priorities and deadlines.
• Ability to interpret complex legal or regulatory concepts for legal and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Translate legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements into scalable business processes and workflows.
• Lead and coordinate legal initiatives across Product, Marketing, Operations, and Engineering.
• Optimize and maintain internal processes to improve efficiency and collaboration.
• Develop, update, and maintain internal guidelines and resources.
• Review customer-facing experiences to identify risks before launch.
• Develop scalable controls and monitoring processes for evolving requirements.
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation to streamline workflows.
• Partner with internal teams to support growth while managing risk.
• Assist with legal research and special projects related to financial products and privacy.
• Support contract administration and other legal operations initiatives.
