Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, a leading global law firm with offices across North America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, is seeking a Legal Practice Coordinator for its Labor & Employment Practice Group. Reporting to the Senior Practice Support Manager, this role is based in Philadelphia and involves providing administrative and legal support with a focus on client service. This position offers opportunities to develop client relationships, support legal initiatives, analyze data, and collaborate with attorneys and legal professionals, enhancing analytical and project management skills.

A hybrid work schedule (in-office/remote) is available.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement internal training initiatives to enhance attorney engagement and client understanding.
  • Create and maintain financial tracking and forecasting tools for retainer-based clients to improve efficiency.
  • Assist Client Relations/Business Development teams with organizing client CLE programs.
  • Refine project management methodologies.
  • Organize and maintain case and client files both physically and digitally.
  • Manage case information, documents, and reports using electronic databases.
  • Support discovery responses by gathering relevant information and materials.
  • Assist in drafting, proofreading, and editing legal briefs and motions.
  • Develop and oversee case and practice group timelines.
  • Conduct research and analysis for legal matters.
  • Coordinate communication among attorney teams handling multiple cases.
  • Distribute drafts and finalized documents to attorneys and clients.
  • Provide administrative support such as conflicts checks, business intake, and expense documentation.
  • Serve as an initial point of contact for clients and support day-to-day client management.
  • Draft and organize meeting minutes and facilitate client communications.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of two years of administrative support experience, preferably in a law firm.
  • Experience supporting Litigation practices, including familiarity with court procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and PDF software.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working independently and in teams.
  • Strategic thinking and initiative in managing projects.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
