AmTrust Financial Services, Inc. is seeking a Counsel Management Coordinator to support the onboarding and ongoing management of outside counsel relationships. This role ensures accurate documentation, compliance with requirements, rate administration, and effective communication across law firm engagements.

You will help maintain data integrity in legal operations systems and support process improvements to achieve compliant and efficient spend management across engagements.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; bachelor’s preferred.
• Experience in insurance, legal operations, claims, or vendor management is expected.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency with matter management, e-billing, and reporting platforms.

Responsibilities

• Support onboarding and documentation for outside counsel and legal service providers.
• Coordinate end-to-end onboarding, collect and review required materials, and track status.
• Maintain accurate records in legal operations systems and ensure data integrity.
• Assist rate and timekeeper administration, including documentation and approvals.
• Generate reports on onboarding, rate administration, and compliance metrics.
