Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a proactive, highly organized Legal Ops professional to build and maintain contract management, compliance, and technology systems. You will own the tech stack (CLM, e-billing, and matter management), select and operate tools, and design end-to-end contract intake and routing through signature.

Collaborating across finance, sales, product, engineering, HR and security, you will automate repetitive work with AI, track spend and turnaround times, manage outside counsel, and

Qualifications

• Experience building or improving a process.
• Ability to turn vague requests into working processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with sales, finance, and leadership.
• Ability to process large volumes of AI-generated content with good judgment and accuracy.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsor not available.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain contract management, legal operations, and compliance systems.
• Own the legal technology stack, including CLM, e-billing, and matter management.
• Select, implement, and operate legal technology tools.
• Build and run contract intake and routing from request through signature.
• Support legal research, regulatory monitoring, and special projects.
• Collaborate with finance, sales, product, engineering, HR, and security.
• Manage outside counsel and legal vendor relationships, including billing, budgets, and engagement terms.
• Standardize, automate, or eliminate repetitive work using technology and AI.
• Track legal spend, contract volume, and turnaround time, and report status.
