Legal Administrative Assistant (Remote)
Arizona-based Private Practice Law Firm
Remote | Full-Time – Open to talent from LATAM and South Africa

About the Role
We’re a small but mighty private practice law firm specializing in landlord-tenant law and eviction cases across Arizona. As the firm continues to grow, we’re looking for a full-time Legal Administrative Assistant to help take work off the founder’s plate and support both legal and administrative operations. This is a great opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and eager to contribute to process improvements within a flexible, evolving work environment.

You’ll play a key role in organizing documents, handling client communications, supporting our in-office admin team member, and helping the founder transition the office from paper to a more paper-lite system. We're investing in automation and AI tools to streamline tasks, so we're looking for someone who is open-minded, adaptable, and excited about new technology.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and manage legal documents related to eviction cases
  • Organize and maintain digital case files, including renaming files and ensuring consistency in our CRM
  • Handle client communications via email and phone
  • Provide regular updates to clients regarding case progress
  • Assist with general admin tasks and support the in-office administrator
  • Help the founder with data entry and file cleanup
  • Perform basic calculations (e.g., late fees, attorney fees)
  • Review lease documents and extract relevant details
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements in processes and workflows
What We’re Looking For
  • At least 2 years of experience in an administrative or legal support role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • High attention to detail and ability to follow legal procedures and protocols
  • Comfortable using Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Gmail, etc.)
  • Familiarity with CRMs or legal tech platforms is a plus
  • Spanish fluency is a bonus, but not required
  • Independent, self-starting mindset—someone who thrives in a flexible, evolving role
