Job summary

Washoe County is seeking a capable supervisor to plan, coordinate, and direct administrative support for the Public Defender’s Office. You will provide advanced administrative assistance to management, handle confidential information, and collaborate across teams to meet deadlines and adapt priorities.

Ideal candidates have three years in a legal field with supervisory experience and a bachelor’s degree in business, public administration, criminal justice, or related area.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in a legal field, with supervisory responsibility.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in business administration, public administration, criminal justice, or a closely related field; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Licensure/Certification: A valid driver’s license may be required and must be maintained if required.
