Receptionist/ Legal Assistant

Days: Monday – Friday

Hours: Monday-Thursday 9am-4:30pm; Friday 8:30am-3:30pm

Pay Rate: $24.00 per hour

Job Description:

As a receptionist/Legal Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, while also providing essential administrative and legal support to our attorney’s and staff. This dual-role position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is detail-oriented, and enjoys helping others.

Key responsibilities:

-Greet clients and visitors with professionalism and courtesy

-Answer and direct incoming calls, take messages, and manage the firm’s main email inbox

-Schedule appointments, maintain calendars, and coordinate meetings

-Draft letters, emails, and engage in high level communication with staff, attorneys and clients

-Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents

-file, scan, and organize legal documents (both electronic and paper files)

-Assist attorneys with case management, research and client communication

-Handle incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and courier services

-Maintain office supplies

-Perform other administrative and legal duties as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications:

-HS Diploma/GED; Associate degree preferred

-2+years of prior experience as a receptionist, admin assistant, or legal assistant

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills

-Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

-Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal management software (preferred)

-Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

-Professional appearance and demeanor

-Bilingual skills a plus
