Cummins Inc. is seeking a talented law student for a summer Legal Intern role in Indianapolis, IN and/or remote home office. You will gain training across IP, commercial, litigation, labor and employment, and cybersecurity with leadership opportunities.
You will perform legal research, draft contracts, attend negotiations and lead projects. The program emphasizes mentorship and real exposure to diverse, impactful work aligned with your interests.
We are looking for a talented Law student to join our team as a summer Legal Intern, supporting our Corporate Business in Indianapolis, IN and/or your remote home office. Our Summer Legal interns receive extensive training and mentorship, as well as exposure to legal work in a variety of practice areas such as Intellectual Property, Commercial Transactions, Litigation, Labor and Employment and Cybersecurity. Students must be enrolled full-time at an accredited U.S. college or university, actively pursuing a degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD, MBA, or JD), with a minimum GPA of 2.5. Candidates must currently reside within the continental United States. Students are expected to work 40 hours per week for a minimum of 10 weeks and a maximum of 12 weeks.
F-1 visa students must have approved Curricular Practical Training (CPT) or Occupational Practical Training (OPT) before their Early Career assignment begin. CPT/OPT must relate to their degree and be authorized by their university. Students are responsible for securing this approval through their school’s international office.
Students must be able to manage their academic responsibilities without compromising their job performance.
