Major League Baseball is seeking a Legal Intern in the Department of Investigations to assist with sensitive matters related to player, umpire, and personnel conduct. This Spring 2027 internship offers exposure to sports law, compliance, and investigations in a fast-paced, professional environment.

You will support investigations, prepare reports, analyze public records and media, conduct legal research, and assist investigators in witness preparation and document review.

Formación

• Enrolled in an ABA Accredited Law School.
• Strong research, writing, and oral communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with time-management and organizational abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsabilidades

• Support investigations into misconduct and rule violations.
• Prepare timely reports of information gathered, presenting information in an organized and user-friendly format
• Gather and analyze publicly available information, including government records, social media, and news reports
• Conduct research and prepare memorandum on a variety of legal topics
• Monitor and develop alerts for relevant court filings and social media updates
• Secure and preserve data and publicly available information
• Prepare investigators for witness interviews
• Review and analyze documents, including organizing documents on a document review platform
• Perform related duties as required
