Job description

We are a small, but fast-growing Personal Injury law firm headquartered in Atlanta with offices throughout the state of Georgia. We are looking for an All-Star Salesperson (also called our Sales Manager & Client Engagement Specialist) to ensure that the firm is always putting its best foot forward for potential new clients. The position will entail both sales and customer service responsibilities.

We are seeking an experienced and value-driven sales professional with an empathetic and industrious approach– a person who can expertly close client contracts by conveying the value of our expert legal services to potential clients while also optimizing the client experience. You will work closely with other members of the team to develop and maintain relationships with clients and referral sources. You must excel at making our potential clients feel confident in our ability to serve them and consistently secure the legal engagement agreement.

This position is only for all-star sales professionals who can sell legal services and cultivate new relationships to generate new leads. We provide training in what you need to know to best help clients, and for the right person, this will be a highly rewarding position personally, professionally, and financially.

Compensation depends on experience and qualifications. Benefits include bonus opportunities, paid holidays, paid time off, health insurance coverage, and the option to participate in our retirement savings plan with employer match. If you are looking for a high-energy and positive team environment with lots of growth potential, then look no further. Compensation: $50,000.00 (earning potential $80k - $100k with incentives).

Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct initial client consultations to sell legal services;
  2. Oversee the smooth transition of new cases to the legal team;
  3. Follow up with potential new clients who have not yet retained us;
  4. Maintain a tracking system to monitor leads, new clients, and referral sources;
  5. Participate in business development and lead generation initiatives;
  6. Train and mentor junior sales staff or interns, if applicable, to help them understand the firm's goals and effective sales techniques;
  7. Play an integral role in providing exceptional “white glove” client service;
  8. Track and analyze sales metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and identify areas for improvement.
Our ideal candidate will:
  1. Understand how to build a relationship with a potential client who may have just had a catastrophic injury;
  2. Show the ability to interact with different types of personalities;
  3. Show empathy to potential clients and put them at ease during a difficult time;
  4. Know how to close a sale by reiterating urgency and promoting value;
  5. Demonstrate exceptional communication skills, both over the phone and in writing;
  6. Think on their toes and not get discouraged when things don’t go as planned;
  7. Thoughtfully respond to potential client objections with logic and ease;
  8. Follow instructions and understand the importance of policies and procedures;
  9. Be a team player who consistently acts with respect and integrity;
  10. Embrace technology (we use law firm CRM and lead software).
Qualifications:
  1. 2-4 years of experience in Sales is required.
  2. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  3. Familiarity with personal injury law and the legal process surrounding it (e.g., auto accidents, slip and falls, medical malpractice) is highly preferred.
  4. Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  5. Excellent customer service, listening, and phone skills.
  6. Empathetic with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust and rapport with potential clients, especially those in distressing situations.
  7. Ability to pay attention to details.
  8. Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  9. Familiarity with case management or CRM systems is a plus.
  10. Skilled with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
