Job summary

Holland & Hart LLP is seeking a Business Intake Specialist to provide operational and analytical support to billing attorneys and the Office of General Counsel. The role focuses on sophisticated intake processes, data capture, conflicts analysis, and compliance to ensure accurate matter openings and client onboarding.

You will work with the Intake Manager and Ethics teams, perform entity research using Lexis Diligence and Capital IQ, and handle engagement letters, while navigating the electronic

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 4+ years as a legal assistant or similar role preferred at a large/medium firm.
• Proficiency with PCs, databases, Adobe, Windows; data integrity focus; familiarity with Aderant/Intapp/Lexis Diligence/Capital IQ is a plus.
• Strong spelling, writing, editing, formatting, and proofreading skills; fast typing; ten-key skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Business Intake Manager and Ethics & Conflicts teams with departmental operations, including financial coordination and meeting logistics.
• Respond to inquiries for engagement letters by locating documents or sharing alternative engagement information.
• Maintain engagement letters and document management folders in department systems.
• Capture and analyze data to open new matters or add parties to existing matters from start to finish, ensuring accurate data capture and compliance with firm policies.
• Develop expertise in communications management and support for late shift operations and lateral attorney onboarding as needed.
