Legal Executive Recruiter (Fully Remote; Uncapped Commissions; Full Benefits)

LHH Legal is growing and we are seeking a Legal Executive Recruiter for our remote, New York based team for a March start. You will be joining a team with several tenured recruiters and leaders, an established client base, local market intelligence, and the resources of a global firm.

During our comprehensive training and onboarding, you will be led by subject matter experts, including former legal professionals and legal recruiters, who will equip you with the skills and knowledge to succeed in your role. You will learn the ins and outs of the industry, from sourcing top legal talent to negotiating lucrative offers.

Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Recruiting attorneys for positions with law firms and corporate legal departments
  • In-depth interviewing with attorney candidates to assess marketability
  • Networking with attorneys and legal professionals
  • Extending offers of employment to attorney candidates and negotiating compensation packages
  • Assisting all parties in making discreet and informed employment decisions

You could be the perfect person for this job if you have the following:

  • Experience practicing law and the desire to move into a sales/recruiting role
  • Enthusiasm and personal motivation
  • Business acumen and an entrepreneurial edge
  • JD required

This position is remote, but the successful candidate must sit in either New York, Northern New Jersey or Connecticut to facilitate candidate and client meetings.

The anticipated base salary for this position is $50,000, unless outlined below, with limitless earning potential through our uncapped commission structure, allowing top performers to maximize their income.

Anticipated Salary:

New York City; Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester Counties – $64,350

New York – All Other Locations, in NY – $60,405.80

Benefit offerings for full-time employment may include medical, dental, vision, term life insurance, short-term and long-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, wellness plans and reimbursement and retirement programs. Available paid leave may include paid time off, parental leave, and holiday pay.
