This job is responsible for leading tax determination and compliance activities, overseeing accurate and complete financial reporting for specific legal entities and consolidating results.

Key responsibilities include tax process transformation, providing business unit support to business partners on complex issues leading tax accounting activities, reviewing journal entries, resolving out-of-balance intercompany receivables/payables, addressing trial balance anomalies, and reviewing internal/external reporting and related commentaries. Job expectations include developing effective tax optimization strategies, providing subject matter expertise, and maintaining a strong control environment.

Responsibilities:

• Leads the assessment of the design and effectiveness of the risk and control environment for Indirect Tax function within Corporate Accounts Payable

• Reviews and executes internal control activities

• Reviews schedules for internal and/or external reporting and tax filings

• Oversees in process improvement initiatives

• Provides coaching and performance feedback for teammates

• Supports the preparation of tax planning and compliance strategies and reporting requirements
