Job summary

You will work with senior attorneys and collaborate with business, compliance, risk, operations, product, and technology teams to address regulatory matters. Requires deep knowledge of securities laws, ERISA, and related fiduciary duties; this is an individual

Responsibilities

• Provides legal advice and guidance on retail investment advisory and broker‑dealer products and services, including managed account programs, financial planning, digital and advisor‑delivered investment advice, broker‑dealer recommendations, and related client experiences.
• Advises on workplace and retail retirement matters, including participant education and advice, plan and IRA distributions, rollovers, and retirement income solutions under ERISA and the Internal Revenue Code.
• Reviews business issues arising from covered activities; conducts legal research; develops solutions balancing business objectives with risk.
• Drafts and reviews client agreements, program documents, disclosures, and other legal documentation; advises on regulatory issues related to product design and distribution.
• Analyzes and interprets new laws and enforcement developments; maintains knowledge of securities Acts, ERISA, IRC, and regulatory guidance.
• Collaborates with business leaders and stakeholders to evaluate issues and develop practical solutions; may support regulatory examinations and inquiries.
• Maintains an in‑depth understanding of relevant products.
