Job summary

Prime Therapeutics LLC is seeking a Legal Counsel for a remote role focused on PBM contracting and regulatory compliance. The position provides tactical legal advice to internal clients at director or VP levels, including drafting, research, training, and cross-functional coordination with in-house and external counsel.

The role requires a JD, bar license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction, and 5 years of legal or regulatory experience, with 3 years in health care or managed care.

Qualifications

• Juris doctor degree required.
• Licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 5 years of legal or regulatory/compliance experience, with 3+ years in healthcare or managed care.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Legal Counsel - Remote

The Legal Counsel (PBM Contracting) provides tactical legal advice and support to internal clients, typically at the Director or Vice President level.

Responsibilities

• Provide tactical legal advice and support to internal clients including PBM, pharmacy, specialty pharmacy, government programs, administrative support functions or other areas as assigned
• Perform research, drafting and transactional work in support of legal matters, with a focus on client-facing contracting and support of account management functions
• Advise internal clients regarding compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate policies; develop and facilitate legal training and investigate issues as needed
• Provide client training on legal principles
• Coordinate partnership with in-house and outside legal resources where appropriate
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Juris doctor degree
• Current license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• 5 years of experience practicing as an attorney or related legal experience in a regulatory or compliance role, with a minimum of 3 years of experience working with managed care companies or other health care clients
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship

Potential pay for this position ranges from $124,000.00 - $211,000.00 based on experience and skills.
