Job summary

Casey’s is seeking a skilled attorney to join its Legal team in the United States. This role offers the opportunity to partner with business leaders, influence decisions, and navigate complex regulatory challenges within a fast-paced retail environment.

You will provide legal analysis and counsel on a broad range of matters, collaborate with stakeholders to shape policies, and support compliance initiatives across the organization.

Qualifications

• JD required from an accredited law school.
• Active license and good standing with at least one U.S. state bar.
• Strong legal research, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
• A practical, business-minded approach to legal counseling.
• Ability to balance legal requirements with operational and commercial objectives.
• Experience with multi-jurisdictional compliance is strongly preferred.
• Prior retail, hospitality, and/or regulatory experience preferred.

• Contribute to strategic initiatives and special projects as Casey's continues its growth journey.

Compensation:

Starting pay range: $120,000 - $145,000. Actual pay may vary based on Casey’s assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, and qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include local prevailing wages and internal equity. This position is eligible for an annual cash bonus based on company performance and an annual equity grant in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). Our full salary range for this role does extend beyond the hiring range listed, allowing team members the opportunity to continue to grow within the company.
