This is a unique opportunity for a commercially minded attorney who enjoys hands‑on work across a broad range of legal disciplines. You'll advise on travel and consumer regulation, commercial contracting, labor and employment matters, data privacy, compliance programs, guest claims, and accessibility requirements while helping shape and scale an evolving in‑house legal function.

The position offers significant exposure to international legal issues, business leaders across multiple brands, and the chance to influence how legal and compliance support is delivered across a global travel organization.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Provide practical legal advice to business leaders across TTC's U.S. operations and support global legal initiatives.
  • Advise on travel industry regulations, consumer protection requirements, accessibility obligations, and related compliance matters.
  • Manage and maintain travel licensing, registrations, renewals, and regulatory compliance processes.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial agreements, including supplier, technology, marketing, procurement, and vendor contracts.
  • Support People & Culture teams on employment‑related matters, workplace policies, investigations, and compliance requirements.
  • Advise on data privacy obligations, including U.S. privacy laws, GDPR‑related matters, and cross‑border data‑sharing arrangements.
  • Partner with operational teams on guest claims, dispute resolution, crisis response, and duty‑of‑care matters.
  • Deliver compliance training, support policy implementation, and help drive TTC's global compliance program.
  • Manage relationships with outside counsel and support litigation and dispute management activities.
  • Build strong partnerships across TTC's brands and become a trusted legal resource for stakeholders throughout the organization.

Requirements

ABOUT YOU

  • Active member in good standing of the California Bar.
  • 6+ years of relevant legal experience gained through a combination of law firm and/or in‑house experience.
  • Experience practicing in‑house or supporting corporate clients across multiple legal disciplines.
  • Strong experience in at least two or more of the following areas:
    • Travel or Consumer regulatory law (preferred)
    • Labor and Employment law (preferred)
    • Data privacy (preferred)
    • Commercial contracts
    • Disputes and claims management
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working with outside counsel and managing legal matters across jurisdictions.
  • Ability to balance legal risk with practical business solutions.
Preferred Requirements
  • Experience within travel, hospitality, transportation, or another highly regulated industry.
  • Knowledge of travel‑related regulations, seller‑of‑travel requirements, accessibility laws, or consumer protection frameworks.
  • Additional U.S. state admissions or international legal experience.

You are someone who takes ownership, exercises strong judgment, communicates clearly with non‑legal audiences, and enjoys working collaboratively in a fast‑paced, global environment. You are comfortable balancing competing priorities, adapting to change, and providing pragmatic legal guidance that helps the business move forward responsibly.
