Role Overview

The Legal Attachment Specialist will provide operational and legal-support functions related to garnishments, child support orders, tax liens, and IRS levies. The specialist is responsible for accurately interpreting and processing legal orders while ensuring member accounts or funds are appropriately restricted in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and organizational procedures.

Core Responsibilities

• Process garnishments, child support orders, tax liens, and IRS levies.


• Review legal documentation and determine the appropriate action on member accounts/funds.


• Ensure all account restrictions and legal attachments are processed accurately and within regulatory requirements.


• Interpret and follow applicable legal regulations, policies, and compliance requirements.


• Research and resolve discrepancies or issues involving legal orders.


• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail when handling sensitive financial/legal information.


• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and potentially external legal entities/agencies.


• Manage multiple cases/work items while meeting deadlines.


• Work independently with minimal to no supervision.
